I have recently enjoyed some new gardening adventures visiting some lovely country properties to take photographs for their owners and for me. I choose the ones I like best and create framed keepsake greeting cards which I give to friends, sell at art shows and have available at a few locations in the Newcastle area. I also make Garden Memory DVDs of gardener’s favourite blossoms, flower beds and homes during different times of day and season’s which can be made into cards, slide shows or simply printed by the owners whenever they want them.

Except for the butterfly bush blossoms, the other photos above were taken at a lovely property in Bond Head where the owner grows spectacular, prize-winning gladioli. I will return either early in the morning or late afternoon near the end of this week to capture her beautiful glads at the best time of day. 11:00 a.m. is far too bright to show them at their best. Because her pond is in a shady area, the wild water lilies made lovely specimens for my “photo frame keepsake” greeting cards…..at least I think so.
