LATE AUGUST FLOWERS – A Slide Show

Today is a busy day but I wanted to try to do a quick post to showcase some of the flowers that I’ve captured “behind the lens”  over the last 2 weeks.   This exceptionally warm Ontario summer has hastened the garden schedules so that mine seems to be almost 3 weeks ahead. Today, I’m pleased to see that the sedums are actually blushing with a bit of pink and the phlox and coneflowers may hang in just long enough before the mums bloom. The rose of sharon are very long blooming, so they are still showing their light mauve flowers with their deep red centres.
