Last spring I posted some tulip photos that I took at the Bowmanville Museum. Many of them were poking their heads through the fallen magnolia blossoms. They were quite a lovely sight.
Two weeks ago, I thought I’d have a look at this year’s specimens planted by the Bowmanville Horticultural Club last fall. I was not disappointed. Here is one of the photos that I took. This was one of the prettiest ones currently in bloom.

OMGosh Jane ! What a gorgeous photo, love it ! The colours are so vivid ! Have a great weekend ! Shirley
What a beautiful shot! I love the colours and the composition! The tulips up here are just poking their leaves an inch or two above the ground still. It was -5C this morning!
Loreen,
The conditions were perfect for this photo. It was a partly cloudy morning and also the subject had nice contrasting colours. I have more photos taken that same day but this time I tried what is referred to by WordPress as a “quick post”. Thought I would try it as it takes me too much time to do the regular ones. This method only allowed one picture.
Jane
Shirley,
I appreciate your interest and your comments. I tried the “quick post” so it only allowed 1 photo or so it seemed. I will add some more later. It was a perfect day for those shots with just a bit of sunshine. The whites actually showed some detail.
Take care.
Jane
Lovely photo, I would love to see more of them !
“Inspired and Pretty”…Glad you liked the tulips. I followed up with a few more in my blog of yesterday.

Great shots Jane!
