In the last few weeks our weather in Southern Ontario took a dramatic turn. Very quickly I found myself replacing my capris and T-shirt with long pants, a warm jacket and even a hat!
After our first night of frost, I went out with my camera in the morning to see which plants had survived. I wanted to capture those that remained in some pictures before it was too late. Amazingly, although it was the last week of October, there were some hardy flowers still “posing” for the camera. This was their finale for 2012!
This might be a good time to remind all of you that I will be at Archibald’s Orchard in Bowmanville on November 23rd, 24th and 25th as part of the Christmas in Clarington event. With other artisans, I will be selling my keepsake photo cards, photo trays and framed/matted original photographs. I will also be a guest artist at Newcastle Home Decor’s open house from 6:00 until 9:00 on November 22nd…….a very busy week for me. I plan to donate 10% of my sales to Hearth Place, a cancer support centre in Oshawa.
Lovely captures Jane, with beautiful bokeh and light. You have a beautiful garden. I love all the photos but my favourite photo is no.1304
