On Saturday, July 5th. , I will be having a reception from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. to celebrate the opening of an exhibit entitled “SPIRITS in NATURE”. This exhibition of 25 of my framed photographs and vibrant photos on canvas, will be held in Port Perry at the Scugog Council for the Arts, 181 Perry Street. Below are some of my photographs that will be featured.
A fabric sculptor, Anja Kooistra, will be the other artist sharing the “stage” and she will feature her unique garden figurines. These magical “divas” are created using natural materials such as mosses, birds’ nests, antique lace and fabrics and beautify any home or garden. Below are 2 examples of one of Anja’s ladies enjoying the sunshine in my early spring garden.
Hi Jane
I plan to be there!

Hi Colette,
Hope you do make it on July 5th. I’m busily framing photographs and trying to get rid of some of the weeds in the garden when I have a few spare moments.
Crops are in but growing very slowly. We need some HEAT!
Jane
Hi Jane Those photos look amazing. You are getting to be a real expert. I am afraid that Dave and I have a 40th wedding anniversary to go to on that saturday and it is an afternoon affair.I hope you get a good turn out. Take careJudy

Hi Judy,
Sorry you can’t make it but if you are up in Port Perry during July, you could drop in and see it. Take care. Jane
You make me proud! Wishing you much success.
Your talent shows in every photo. I tried to pick out a favorite, but I couldn’t.
You have some amazing pictures of birds. It is especially exciting to follow your bird photographers who live in the U.S. because you have birds I have never seen before.
I’m sorry that I didn’t reply sooner to your comment. Glad you liked the bird photos. We have many of the same birds here in Canada as they do in the U.S. Photographing them is a passion of mine. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
I’m late to comment on this post. I would have loved to see your magnificent photos on canvas !
They are all so very beautiful but I’m so impressed by the owl, what a superb photo Jane !
The figurine is so pretty, so delicate, she is such a great artist.
I’m sure you’ll have great success with your photos 🙂
It’s wonderful to hear from you. If you ever come for a visit, you can stop by and see them in person. I loved your last post. What a reward you got and shared with others by getting up extra early. Keep taking and sharing your beautiful, romantic photos.
Oh thank you Jane, I’d love to see them in person 🙂
Thank you so much for your kind words too 🙂
Have a nice week !
